Independent Advisor and board member

Thanks for stopping by. I am a former Microsoft Executive and now serve as an Independent Consultant and Board advisor as a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

I’m a graduate of MIT’s AI for Business executive program and Microsoft and Northwestern’s Kellogg Leadership Bench Executive MBA program. Throughout my over 25 years in tech, I have had the privilege of leading global teams in the launch of world-changing technologies including Azure, Windows, Media Platforms, Xbox, Industry Clouds and Microsoft AI.

Building exceptional teams and helping Fortune 500 leaders create clarity are my passion. Over the years, I’ve received multiple patents, and even a technical Emmy Award for our work on media platforms.

One of my favorite experiences was leading the first collaboration with OpenAI, a partnership that laid the foundation for transformative advancements including ChatGPT, Copilots, and Plugins, revolutionizing the way we interact with AI technologies.

Engaging Storytelling & Keynotes

Engaging storytelling, combined with compelling real-world demos that create magic moments. As a keynote presenter and executive producer, I have had the honor of presenting on some of the largest global stages with Microsoft CEOs, executives, and partners including former CEOs Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. I’ve also produced keynote speeches for current CEO Satya Nadella and EVP of Azure Scott Guthrie. Other highlights include working with former Microsoft CTO Ray Ozzie and EVP of AI & Research Dr. Harry Shum. I also had the great honor of being the Commencement speaker at my alma mater some years ago, leading to a nomination to join the Board of Trustees.

Let's Connect & Collaborate

committed to Community service

A few years ago, our family moved back to my college town where we are wrapping up raising two sons. My wife is a pilot and Captain for a major airline and a Lieutenant Colonel in the USAF who attended Notre Dame. We both serve in the community –  I serve my alma mater, The University of Tulsa as a Trustee and Executive Committee member. I also volunteer on the Executive Committee of the George Kaiser Family Foundation’s tech initiative, Tulsa Innovation Labs, an organization committed to fostering Tulsa’s innovation economy.

With a deep appreciation for the Arts & Humanities, I volunteer my time on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees at the renowned Philbrook Museum Art & Gardens. Through this role, my wife and I actively contribute to the preservation and promotion of artistic and cultural endeavors.

More detail on the work I do can be found under Board & Advisory Positions.
