How about removing the target="_blank" attribute from your anchor (link) element? This lame "trick" to make the link open in a new window is left over from a decade ago before tabbed browsers became popular. It’s primarily used by sites who deem themselves SO IMPORTANT that they just couldn’t bear for their customers to leave, *even when they click on a link*. Give it up. We don’t have any reason to want your silly link to act differently than every other link on the web. If I wanted a new window, I’ll middle-click instead, thank you very much.

Fair enough Brad- this is a feature of Windows Live Writer. I’ll make sure it’s turned off in the future. As for me, I like having those links open in another tab in updated browsers ;).

Another tab is fine, but leave it in the user’s control (ie, just make your links normal like every other link on the web). Opening a whole separate window in a world of tabbed browsing is a ridiculous notion. Thanks for being open to feedback!
