If you’re a beta junkie like me, and have a spare test system laying around, why not give Windows Vista Beta 2 and Office 2007 a whirl? Unlike when XP was in beta, broadband is finally at acceptable speeds for most to able to download. Just be sure to run the Vista Upgrade Advisor first m’kay?

It says Beta 2 supports upgrades from XP only, but I assume that Windows 2000 directly to Windows Vista will be supported as an upgrade path in the final release (perhaps even in RC1)?
I have two older PCs that are still running Win2K SP4…. :O

Sorry, don’t know but I’ll try and find out. If I were a betting man, I would say "no". Besides, I personally believe clean install & migrate is the best strategy.
